Home Response to Covid
Putting Safety First To Protect Our Families And Staff

All About Kids Day Care places the utmost priority on the health and safety of the children in our care, our team members, and the families we serve.

That’s why a key part of our overall COVID-19 response has been the implementation of a new set of standard operating procedures that can help mitigate the spread of potential infection throughout our facility. These steps expand upon existing disinfection and health protocols that offer parents and staff peace of mind and demonstrates our commitment to creating a healthy and safe environment for learning and working.

Please be assured that we are continuing to monitor this health issue closely and have preventative measures in place to keep our children and staff safe.

These preventative measures include:

Changes to Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

To reduce the number of people in the facility, drop-off and pick-up are done only at the front door.

Also, at the front door, every child who is dropped off will get a wellness check. We need to make sure they haven’t been sick and that they feel good. If they have a fever, or have had any symptoms, they will be asked to go home until they feel better.

Then, once inside the facility. every child will have to thoroughly wash their hands.

Face Coverings

We have improved our current cleaning and sanitation methods. As recommended by the CDC, we are also requiring children and staff to use a mask within our facility.

The Importance of Washing Your Hands

Hand washing is the single most effective practice in preventing the spread of germs.

Employees must wash their hands when they start work, after any contact with dirty items, soiled toys, touching other people, using the restroom, and preparing or serving foods.

Children will also wash their hands at those times, as well as after playing outside.

Overall Cleanliness

Our home is kept clean at all times. We thoroughly clean surfaces that children come in close contact with using soap and water, and disinfectant.

The high chairs are cleaned between each use, and the diaper changing tables are cleaned and disinfected between each diaper change.

The number of toys that we would have available in bins, are now rotated daily and cleaned thoroughly with soap and water, then disinfectant.

New, Improved, and Updated Facility

In order to improve our cleaning, we eliminated the carpet for wooden laminate flooring.

We have replaced our older fabric high chairs with plastic commercial ones.

We Are Putting Safety First to Protect You

We take the well-being of your child very seriously and work hard to provide an environment that is as healthy as possible. We are committed to keeping our home and the children in it as clean as possible, in order to help minimize and/or prevent the spread of germs.

We practice daily cleaning and disinfecting procedures for the entire facility, as well as for our playground.

Our place is a safe and clean establishment -ready for fun.
