Daily Schedule

Routine is very important in a child’s life. Our days are based upon schedules. Although it may vary a little from time to time, we like to keep it structured similar to what is shown below.

Important Dates

List of Paid Holidays we are closed.  Because Holidays fall on different days each year, I am only listing the month they are in.

We use the CCSD School Calendar as our model.

Extended (one week) vacations by parents are payable at half the regular fee, if a one month notice is given to the childcare provider. If notice is not given the price of the weekly care will be charged in order to hold the child’s place.

The provider will give a two week notice, when the facility must be closed for routine business, medical or other appointments. As often as possible, these will be scheduled for the weekends or late afternoon time.

The child care provider will give a two week notice for vacation, and ensure that a certified provider is available to substitute in the facility.

Nutrition

It is our goal to offer nutritious meals and snacks to the children in our care, as nutrition is a vital part of a child’s health. Children need to eat well-balanced meals in order to meet his or her daily energy needs and to help them build a strong body and mind. We know that the good food habits a child develops will help them prevent cavities, iron deficiency anemia, and obesity, etc – all common nutritional problems in young children.

If your child has any particular dietary needs resulting from being a vegetarian, or having allergies, religious beliefs, or non religious beliefs, etc, then just let us know. If the typical type of meals we serve do not meet your criteria for whatever reason, that’s perfectly fine, however, in which case, all of the child’s meals and snacks will have to be provided by the parent.

We Offer Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, and Dinner with Full-Time Child Care.

Food

No junk food please, the provider will supply all food including meals and nutritious snacks.

We make special days for birthdays so you many bring a cake, cookies or other treats to help celebrate. However, please be sure to keep it healthy and low on sugar. Please let the provider know in advance what you have planned.

Special foods and/or diets must be provided by the parents.

Enrollment

All forms must be returned completely filled out before a child/ children enters care. All forms are subject to yearly renewal and must be kept up to date.

Appropriate placement of your child is very important to the child, parent /parents and provider. Every program is not suited to every child; therefore all children enter child care on a 2 week trial basis to ensure proper placement.

Parents are always welcome to observe or participate in the daily programs when the child is present.*

Any special needs for the child /children has to be notified in advance to the provider in order to provide the best care for your child.

Our facility is certified in First-Aid and CPR, licensed by the state of Nevada, and also a member of the food program.

We accept Urban League, but are willing to look into any other financial or government programs if you bring me the information.

Hours

Monday – Friday 6am- 6pm
Saturday – Sunday Closed

If needed with prior notice we will accommodate the parent /parents’ needs on the hours and days.

Payment obligation on the hours you agree to use childcare, not necessarily on actual hours of attendance.

Payment is due if you have agreed to use certain blocks of time, whether or not the child actually attends during those hours.

Registration

Registration Fee is $50.

An additional charge of $3.00 per 15 minute time frame (or portions of 15 minute time frames) will be incurred if a child is dropped off earlier or picked up later than agreed upon schedule.

Payment for childcare will be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly in advance. After selecting when tuition will be covered (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) please make sure tuition is paid on the day it is due and agreed upon.

Absence of the child during a scheduled daycare day will result in a charge of full price to reserve space for the child.

Ill children cannot attend daycare. The childcare provider will decide if the child is too ill to stay and will contact parent/parents for alternative arrangements.

If provider is physically ill, a certified substitute provider will come to the childcare facility and provide care.

We accept Cash, Checks, or Zelle (If you use another form of online payment, I am willing to look into it if you bring info on it)
